Your timetable with u:space semester planner

Not sure which courses you want to take this semester, or have you noticed scheduling conflicts too late in the past?

The semester planner in u:space helps you plan your semester clearly and stress-free! It offers an accessible design and can also be used on mobile devices. Here we explain the most important features so that you can start the new semester well planned.

The semester planner is divided into three steps:

  • Curriculum & Planning
  • Calendar
  • List & Registration

Your curriculum at a glance

Under Curriculum & Planning, you can select the program you want to start planning with. Here you have an overview of which courses/modules you have already completed and which you still have to complete. It also shows whether you meet the requirements for the respective courses.

The progress bar at the top shows how many ECTS credits you will receive for courses/exams that you have already completed (green), registered for (blue), and planned (orange).

For semester planning, you can either use the free text search to find specific courses/exams or browse the individual modules for suitable options.

Extension curricula are also displayed in your semester planner – to do this, you must register them in u:space under Courses – Extension Curricula.

Keep everything in view with your calendar

The calendar section displays your planned and registered courses/exams – from all your studies in the semester planner. While the weekly view at the top gives you an overview of the semester, the detailed view at the bottom shows you information about the courses/exams. Time conflicts are displayed in red in the calendar.Screenshot of the tool u:space

The calendar offers an export function that allows you to integrate your planned and registered appointments into your personal calendar. The export is a one-time static download as an iCal file. If you click on Subscribe, your appointments will be synchronized in your private calendar.

Don’t forget to register!

Under List & registration, you’ll find a list of your planned courses/exams with the respective registration links.
